Over twenty years ago, I discovered there needed to be a new way of consulting to help manufacturers/vendors improve their performance and attain a new level of partnership. More importantly, I wanted to help companies reach their ultimate potential…see the kind of results that pave the way for change.

Today, our company continues to provide strategic business intelligence and best practices to Fortune 500 companies. We are also a company that has founded IMS’ Retail University—a series of workshops focused on teaching the critical elements of competing profitably in the increasingly complex retail marketplace.

I have started blogging as a way to respond to the many questions, requests and thoughts of the 12,000+ graduates, who have attended IMS Retail U workshops. Through blogs and articles, I hope to share my 25 years of real world consulting experiences of how to change results.

Not only would I like to provide my insights on the business world, but also give you a glimpse of who I am…one of my passions, photography. I will share with you my personal journey into the unknown … and quest to become a “photographer of record”. Despite all the advances in digital photography, this past year has been a humbling experience just to learn the dials and buttons of a “SLR”. I will share photos throughout the journey to capture the moment.
